The BFCM checklist is an October job, not a November one
🔥 Putting this here while there is still time to act on it.
Most brands start BFCM prep in the second week of November. By then the only lever left is budget, and budget on an untrained algorithm is expensive guessing.
Three things worth finishing before the surge:
Audit the data. Meta diagnostics clean, EMQ healthy, deduplication working. Everyone stress tests the website before a sale. Almost nobody stress tests the data layer, and if events are misfiring in November you will not learn it from a dashboard, you will learn it from revenue that never arrived.
Engineer your signals. Segment campaigns by AOV band, category and audience before you scale budgets. Most accounts still send one Purchase event, which means a 500 rupee buyer and a 5000 rupee buyer are identical to the algorithm. Scale that in November and you scale whichever is cheaper to find.
Warm up the algorithm. Low-budget campaigns running weeks ahead, so learning is finished before real money is on the line. Meta should already know what a buyer looks like on day one of the sale rather than working it out while your competitors bid against you.

Where is everyone on these three? And for those who ran warm-up campaigns last year, how many weeks ahead did you start, and did it show up in your day-one CPA?
